It was created on october 25 in the city of Chihuahua, Chihuahua.<\/p>\n<p>Among its areas of competence are materials, energy and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Its strategic objectives are: <\/p>\n<ul class=\"objetivos\">\n<li><span class=\"glyphicon glyphicon-ok\"><\/span> To carry out research, development and innovation in science and technology with criteria of excellence in the areas of materials, energy and environment with the aim of boosting the country\u2019s development.\n<li><span class=\"glyphicon glyphicon-ok\"><\/span> To form high-level human capital in the areas of specialization through postgraduate studies programs.\n<li><span class=\"glyphicon glyphicon-ok\"><\/span> To provide technological and innovative solutions to the productive, academic and social sectors through services, assessments, consulting and generation of technological development.\n    <\/ul>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-4 grupo-datos\">\n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DraTorres1.jpg\" alt=\"DraTorres\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"responsable\" style=\"margin-bottom: 1em;\" ><a href=\"\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/LMTG-CV-JULY-2020.pdf\">Dra.
