The curriculum of the PhD in Environmental Science and Technology aims to train high-level human resources in the areas of environment and energy to develop on students the skills to generate frontier knowledge and transferring it to the productive, social and public sectors, based on ethical training and of values.

Graduates of the PhD program in Environmental Science and Technology will have the ability to work independently and as a team at the highest levels of research whether in academia or in industry, nationally or internationally to address environmental issues and energy in a comprehensive way. The skills acquired will allow graduates to insert themselves into technology-based companies. In addition, they will have the required tools to educate the next generations of engineers, scientists, and technologists who promote the knowledge-based economy. Graduates will have an ethical training in accordance with the principles of sustainability.
